Job summary

SA-TECH is seeking a dual-hatted General and Operations Manager, Senior, who will also function as the Chief Engineer for the NAWCWD China Lake program. Lead a multidisciplinary engineering workforce delivering next-generation weapons integration, software validation, and flight test architecture, serving as the contract's principal technical authority.

The role requires MS/MA in a technical field (BS with 4 years acceptable), 20 years aviation/management experience, 3 years leading technical

Qualifications

• MS/MA in a relevant technical field, or BS/BA with additional four years of experience.
• Minimum of 20 years of combined aviation and management experience.
• Minimum of three years of management experience directing technical/engineering teams.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as final technical authority for systems engineering and hardware/software development.
• Lead cross-functional IPTs spanning aerospace, electrical, cybersecurity, and data-product fields.
• Govern the systems engineering lifecycle including requirements and architecture validation.
• Establish contract-wide engineering methodologies, safety, and cybersecurity for advanced weapon systems.
