Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Senior Chemist 3 to support contaminant-related environmental projects. You will provide chemistry expertise, ensure data integrity, and guide QA/QC within multidisciplinary teams nationwide, with preference for Pacific Northwest offices.

You will work on data management, regulatory compliance, and project planning while expanding your skills across environmental domains in a leading consultancy.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; chemistry preferred.
• Professional accreditation (NRCC-CEAC, AAEES-BCES, CHMM or similar) is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in commercial environmental testing labs with EPA methods.
• 12+ years of environmental data validation and consulting experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations and data quality guidance.
• Experience with QAPPs, FSPs, and UFP-QAPP development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientist/chemist to plan and deliver project objectives and solve technical problems.
• Ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance requirements.
• Write or review QA/PP plans and other planning documents.
• Provide guidance on leveraging data to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across US offices.
• Lead portions of technical project work from scoping to deliverables.
• Demonstrate strong safety behaviors.
