Job summary

Kennametal is seeking a Manufacturing Chemical Process Operator III for the 12-hour day shift. The role involves loading/unloading furnaces, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring safety and quality across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting furnace systems, maintaining vacuum integrity, and entering process data. Hazmat awareness, PPE use, and collaboration with a cross-functional team are required for daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Understanding oral and written procedures and instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furnaces and monitor temperatures and gas/chemical flow rates.
• Operate and troubleshoot furnace components and replace parts as needed.
• Enter quality data and monitor results for process control.
• Communicate safety and production issues to supervisors and shifts.
