Job summary

Varex Imaging Corporation in Salt Lake City is seeking a senior chemical engineer to design and implement chemical processes, instrumentation and equipment, enabling manufacturing scale with maximum efficiency.

You will conduct trials, tests and experiments to support engineering, production and R&D, and assist manufacturing operations in solving equipment-related problems while developing new process formulas to improve cost effectiveness and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
8+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Design and implement chemical processes, instrumentation and equipment to scale manufacturing with maximum efficiency.
Perform trials, tests and experiments to support engineering, production and R&D activities.
Assist manufacturing operations in problem solving with regards to equipment and systems.
Develop and recommend new process formulas and technologies to achieve cost effectiveness and improved product quality.
Establish operating equipment specifications and improve manufacturing techniques.
