Job summary

Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer for our chemical manufacturing client. This in-office position is located at the facility in SW Arkansas with 15% domestic travel as necessary.

Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. The role focuses on developing existing and new processes from concept to operation, creating PFDs and P&IDs, and supporting startups and turnarounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years active process/project experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical engineering and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develops existing and new processes from concept to finished operating processes in plant operations.
• Develops PFD and P&ID, material and energy balances, and CAD-based line drawings.
• Troubleshoot processes, support startups/shutdowns/turnarounds, and track daily production volumes.
• Lead projects with team and execute scope, cost model, equipment acquisition, and testing.
