Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Plant Operations Manager in Magnolia, Arkansas for our chemical manufacturing client. This in-office position offers relocation assistance for the right candidate and travel up to 20% as needed.

The role leads plant operations with a strong focus on HSEQ, cost control, and continuous improvement, coordinating across engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production.

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemical Engineering required or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Supervisory and budgetary experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead plant operations with emphasis on HSEQ, cost control, and continuous improvement, in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Drive CI initiatives across safety performance, operating costs, material variances, capital projects, and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure field personnel follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, promoting accountability and discipline.
  • Coach and mentor in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Develop and deliver training for field personnel on safe work practices, incident reporting, root cause analysis, and safety programs.
  • Meet or exceed production, on-time shipping, and cost targets; identify gaps and partner across the company for sustainable improvements.
  • Manage resources to ensure adequate workforce coverage and operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and HSEQ teams to support safe, efficient plant operations.

Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Plant Operations Manager for our chemical manufacturing client. This is an in-office position located in the Magnolia, Arkansas area with up to 20% domestic travel as necessary. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

  • ·Base salary of $165k - $195k DOE plus bonus opportunity and full benefits
  • ·Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • ·Supervisory and budgetary experience required
