Job summary

Syensqo seeks a Process Engineer to drive improvement projects from concept through completion within a chemical manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity, requiring a chemical engineering degree and 5–10+ years of experience, plus strong data analysis and cross-functional collaboration. Occasional off-hours work and travel to tolling partners are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of chemical manufacturing experience.
• Strong data analysis and statistical background.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment with occasional off-hours shifts.
• Ability to operate in both union and non-union environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote an observable culture of process safety, quality, and customer service within your control.
• Execute tactical short-term support for site operational needs while owning longer-term projects from the global process engineering team.
• Lead and support technical projects across manufacturing sites and tolling partners, from scoping to sustainment.
• Provide operational support at external toll manufacturers, including yield, OEE, SQC, and issue resolution.
• Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, timing, and deliverables.
