Fortune Personnel of Houston, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a leading chemical company in Texas.

The role provides process engineering expertise and project management to optimize plant operations, improve energy efficiency, and maximize safety and profitability. The successful candidate will lead technology optimization across sites, run process simulations, and drive capital projects including toll manufacturing capacity development.

Qualifications

BS Chemical Engineering required.
6+ years in the Chemical/Refining Industry.
High level process management and control skills; strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Act as internal technology expert for process optimization across plants.
Lead cost reduction initiatives focusing on process and energy optimization.
Perform process simulations and optimization studies; implement modifications and installations.
Provide technical solutions and troubleshoot reliability and processing bottlenecks.
Lead development of toll manufacturing capacity; supervise start-ups and campaigns.
Conduct process safety activities including HAZOP studies and PSSR reviews.
Support turnarounds by filling roles on the management team and leading capital scopes.
