Job summary
Syensqo SA is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to provide technical support for manufacturing operations, drive process improvements, and lead capital projects. The role emphasizes data analysis, variation reduction, and strong collaboration with operations and maintenance teams.
Ideal candidates have a BS in Chemical Engineering, 3–5+ years' experience in process engineering, and knowledge of PSM and quality systems.
Qualifications
- BS in Chemical Engineering (or related engineering) preferred.
- 3–5+ years of engineering experience in Process and Project Engineering.
- Familiarity with OSHA PSM and process safety concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Promotes operating discipline and accountability to achieve excellence in execution.
- Lead NPDI transfers and new product introductions ensuring seamless plant integration.
- Analyze quality, cycle time, and process variations to drive improvements.
- Identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and track effectiveness of improvements.
- Mentor operators and supervisors on unit operations, chemistries, and batch changes in DCS.
