Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Charleston, WV, to provide technical leadership on chemical projects. You will lead process engineering activities, mentor junior engineers, and ensure safe, cost-effective solutions across specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, and related industries.

You will apply your expertise in PFDs, HMBs, P&IDs, process modeling, and safety studies, while supporting commissioning and start-up activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Experience in specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, or related chemical industries.
• Revamps, expansions, and debottlenecking in operating chemical plants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering on multiple chemical projects, reporting to the Process Engineering Manager.
• Coordinate with the Process Engineering Manager on resource needs and budgets.
• Provide updates on budget, schedule, and progress to stakeholders.
