The role delivers mechanical engineering services for complex industrial and nuclear projects, providing technical leadership and supervision within the mechanical engineering team. You will support design, execution, construction, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant experience, including nuclear engineering projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States with ability to obtain licensure in West Virginia.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work in or relocate to the Charleston, WV area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet project requirements, on time and within budget.
• Act as Project Discipline Lead, integrating mechanical design activities with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead or support a multidisciplinary mechanical engineering team to achieve project objectives.
• Provide technical bid evaluations, review vendor documentation, and support equipment selection.
• Mentor junior personnel within the mechanical engineering team and communicate with stakeholders.
