Job summary
On-Board Services is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer in Pittsburgh with a strong focus on technical quality, design review, and engineering oversight. You will review process designs, validate calculations, and ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule across multi-disciplinary projects.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, 8+ years in chemical process engineering for complex facilities, and semiconductor experience, with full-time/part-time flexibility and
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or similar engineering degree
- At least 8 years of experience in a chemical process engineering role on facilities designs in advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical or oil & gas
- At least one year of semiconductor experience
Responsibilities
- Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
- Perform technical validation of calculations, specifications, and design assumptions to ensure consistency and defensibility of engineering work products.
- Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and attention to detail to uphold high engineering standards across all projects.
