Job summary

The Project Engineer / Manager at On-Board Engineering will oversee the safe, compliant execution of capital projects within an operating manufacturing facility. You will lead projects from concept through commissioning and closeout, collaborating with contractors, vendors, consultants, EHS, and site stakeholders to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or relevant technical certification.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Experience working with packaging lines or packaging-related capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Lead design reviews, safety and compliance assessments, and MOC activities.
• Track project costs, forecasts, risks, and overall progress.
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance activities with the EHS team.
• Coordinate activities across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, practices, and engineering standards.
• Lead project startup and closeout within established budget and schedule requirements, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
