Job summary
Wastech Engineering is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer to help keep high‑impact projects on track and elevate how the engineering team plans, designs, and delivers. You will partner with the Engineering Manager to maintain clear schedules, provide day‑to‑day status, and ensure timely, safe technical decisions.
You will guide design activities and offer hands‑on support across Engineering, Production, and Sales—joining weekly client and internal meetings to remove roadblocks and sustain
Qualifications
- BS in Chemical Engineering required.
- 15+ years in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong project management and leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily project status and update weekly schedules with the Engineering Manager.
- Manage design activities and provide guidance as needed.
- Support Engineering, Production, and Sales teams with technical and managerial input.
- Participate in weekly client and internal meetings to remove roadblocks.
- Implement and enforce procedures to improve efficiency and monitor costs.
