Job summary

WesTech Engineering has an immediate opening for a Senior Process Engineer to support our Process Engineering team. This experienced role focuses on developing and supporting technical solutions for industrial water and wastewater treatment across the project lifecycle, including proposal development and execution support.

Candidates will work with sales, laboratory and engineering teams to deliver technically sound, commercially competitive solutions and may need site access for pilot testing,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant process engineering experience.
• Strong process design fundamentals, including mass balances, PFDs/P&IDs, and equipment sizing.
• Experience supporting proposals and leading technical process discussions.
• Demonstrated competency with water chemistry.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review process flow diagrams, mass balances, specifications, and technical drawings (PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic profiles).
• Perform process calculations including equipment sizing and chemical dosing.
• Develop and position projects with competitive technical and commercial merits.
• Support proposal development with scope definitions and technical discussions with customers.
• Design advanced treatment solutions focusing on membrane systems, re-use, and high-recovery applications.
• Participate in pilot testing, bench-scale testing, process validation, and result interpretation.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, site audits, and field technical analysis.
• Prepare technical content for conferences, trainings, and sales support.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with sales, lab, and engineering teams.
• Travel ~25% for site visits and startup support.
