Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. (UOP) seeks a Principal Chemical Engineer – Innovation Focus for the Ortloff Engineers COE in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role provides senior technical leadership across development, innovation, and commercialization of cryogenic natural gas processing technologies.

You will guide design practices, mentor engineers, drive technology differentiation, and support growth opportunities with the technology portfolio and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 15 years of process and/or process design engineering experience in the natural gas processing industry.
• Minimum 5 years of specific experience with NGL/LPG Recovery Turbo-Expander processing units.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for development, innovation, commercialization, and project execution of Ortloff cryogenic gas processing technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers while maintaining responsibility for key projects and engineering plans.
• Provide leadership and oversight in technology innovation and technical issue resolution.
• Drive the maintenance, development, and continuous improvement of engineering infrastructure and tools.
• Plan, organize, and communicate project technical requirements to leadership.
