Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of kitchen or culinary experience.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred associate degree or technical training in food service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health inspections, menu planning, and daily prep task sheets.
• Prepare and cook food to specified temperatures following recipes; measure ingredients.
• Assemble meals and bakery items within deadlines; support events with Culinary Director.
• Apply IDDSI standards for texture-modified diets as required.
• Supervise kitchen staff in supervisor's absence and relay resident/guest feedback.
