Job summary

Ebenezer in Edina, MN is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare and present meals in accordance with IDDSI standards and facility recipes. You will assist with events, ensure proper portioning, and maintain a sanitary kitchen. Must be 18+ with Food Handlers certification. Prior food service is preferred; Microsoft Office knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0 - 1 year of experience in food service or related field.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Food Handlers certification issued by an ANAB-CFP accredited food sanitation program within 90 Days or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items to specified temperatures using recipes.
• Assemble meals and bakery items within designated time frames and assist with events.
• Prepare texturized diets per IDDSI standards.
• Maintain a sanitary work environment with proper cleaning schedules and equipment.
• Supervise kitchen staff and communicate resident feedback to the supervisor.
