OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a Senior Charge Analyst to bridge clinical operations and revenue cycle, ensuring accurate charge capture and compliance with OhioHealth policies.

In this role, the Senior Charge Analyst works to identify opportunities for over/under charging and root cause correction by leveraging knowledge of clinical operations, documentation, coding, and charge capture.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of hospital operations and Revenue Cycle functions.
• Strong audit experience and ability to document findings clearly.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation, coding, and charge capture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary site resource to clinical and operational teams on revenue cycle functions.
• Engage leaders to bridge gaps in workflows and ensure accurate charge capture.
• Assist departments to document services and relate documentation, coding and charge capture.
• Perform daily account reviews for missing charges using Revenue Guardian/Epic.
• Conduct annual multi-disciplinary charge audits and report findings to leadership.
• Develop education material and training on documentation, coding and charge capture.
• Contribute to refining the Hospital Revenue Integrity Program to meet regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Hospital Revenue Integrity.
