Job summary

MICON Group, Inc. is seeking a Manager - Change Management to lead change initiatives for major infrastructure projects in Milwaukee, WI. You will oversee end-to-end claim development, cost and schedule analysis, and collaboration with legal, finance, and project teams.

Responsibilities include preparing exhibits, narratives, and supporting documentation, coaching junior staff, and developing robust processes for claims and change orders. AA/EOE/M/W/Vet/Disability, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years technical documentation evaluation experience or equivalent
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, documents, and project controls
• Data management proficiency, including Excel
• Clear and concise written and verbal communications
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Ability to manage, oversee, and promote development of junior team members
• Understanding of scheduling software and forensic schedule analysis techniques a plus
• Basic estimating experience a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead change management efforts, including day-to-day engagement with project team and change order tracking
• Develop claims approach, methodology, and analytical framework with leadership
• Own end-to-end development of major claim components (entitlement, quantum, schedule impact) and cost analysis
• Oversee preparation of exhibits, graphics, and documentation for claims and change orders
• Oversee schedule and cost analysis by junior staff; ensure accuracy and defensibility
• Assist with development of claim narratives by integrating technical and contractual elements
• Engage with project management, legal counsel, schedulers, and finance during claim development
• Provide coaching and talent development for junior staff
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities in claims processes
• Partner with project teams to integrate change management into project plans
