Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Senior / Staff Technical Program Manager, Change Governance to own end-to-end orchestration of product changes from tentative engineering approval through cross-functional review to production deployment. You will ensure changes are tracked, vetted, and executed with governance and traceability at every stage.

You will coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Logistics to manage change cascades, qualification, readiness, and launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of program management experience in physical/hardware product development.
• Fluency in multi-tier automotive supply chain (OEM → Tier1 → Tier2/3).
• Cross-functional ownership across engineering, purchasing, supply chain and manufacturing.
• Experience with gate-driven development (APQP, PPAP, SOP).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and ability to script for data retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability for governance of changes from tentative Engineering approval to production-line implementation.
• Assess and manage impact of changes across multi-tier supply chains and suppliers.
• Coordinate with production-lines and suppliers to plan readiness, timing, resourcing, build sequencing, documentation, and training.
• Maintain audit-ready records of change status, approvals, and decisions in relevant systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards on change pipeline health using scripts and automation.
• Own and improve governance framework, checklists, and gate criteria with IT/business systems.
