Job summary

Zoox seeks a Senior / Staff Technical Program Manager, Change Governance to own end-to-end orchestration of product changes from tentative engineering approval to production-line implementation. You will ensure every change is tracked, vetted, and executed with governance and traceability at each stage.

You will coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Logistics, manage complex supplier readiness, and maintain audit-ready records in ERP/PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related.
• 10+ years PM with hardware product development experience.
• Fluency in multi-tier automotive supply chain (OEM → Tier1 → Tier2/3).
• Ability to own programs without direct authority across functions.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP/SOP milestones and cost/schedule implications.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets with data reconciliation and pivoting.
• Experience with at least one PLM/ERP tool (e.g., SAP, Windchill).

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of accountability for governance of changes across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Logistics to production-line implementation.
• Coordinate supplier qualification and launch-readiness requirements for complex changes.
• Plan implementation readiness with production teams and suppliers (timing, resourcing, build sequencing, training).
• Maintain audit-ready records of change status and decisions in ERP/PLM systems.
• Build dashboards and reports on change pipeline health using scripts to automate data retrieval and reporting.
• Improve governance framework and checklist with IT/business systems teams.
