Job summary

ZT Systems seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead firmware, BIOS, and BMC release programs across complex hardware platforms. You will drive change control, cross-functional collaboration, and executive reporting to keep milestones aligned with validation and manufacturing.

The role combines deep firmware expertise with strong program leadership, guiding teams across engineering, validation, and supply chain to deliver high-quality releases on schedule and with clear risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years in Technical Program Management or Engineering PM
• Strong firmware, BIOS, BMC, hardware platform knowledge
• Experience with release governance and change control
• Excellent communication and leadership across global teams

Responsibilities

• Lead firmware, BIOS, and BMC release planning across programs.
• Drive change management across firmware, hardware, and validation.
• Coordinate schedules, timelines, validation plans, deployment milestones.
• Manage release governance, readiness, milestones, executive reporting.
• Drive risk management for critical firmware and platform integration challenges.
• Prioritize release content with engineering leaders; balance business and technical objectives.
• Maintain end-to-end program visibility of status, deliverables, actions, and critical path.
• Facilitate collaboration across firmware, BIOS, BMC, hardware, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.
• Develop scalable processes, metrics, and tools to improve release predictability and quality.
• Ensure synchronization between development, validation, qualification, and deployment activities.
• Lead release readiness reviews and post-release stabilization for product launches.
• Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and mitigations to senior leadership.
