Job summary

Synopsys Inc. seeks a CFD Engineer to support customers in solving complex CFD and thermal problems using Synopsys and Ansys Fluids tools.

You will use AI-powered platforms to diagnose issues, document solutions, and accelerate resolutions, while building strong relationships across aerospace, automotive, energy, and other sectors. You will craft technical content and contribute to process improvements, with a global team that values rigor and customer success.

Qualifications

Experience with CFD simulations and thermal analysis.
Strong foundation in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers in clear English.

Responsibilities

Help customers solve CFD and thermal simulation problems using Synopsys and Ansys Fluids (Fluent, CFX, Workbench).
Leverage AI-powered support platforms alongside engineering expertise to diagnose issues and speed resolutions.
Build lasting relationships with customers across aerospace, automotive, energy, and other industries by understanding workflows.
Create and maintain technical content like knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
Lead or contribute to team projects on process improvements, content development, and operational excellence.
Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and provide feedback to improve engineering workflows.
