Job summary

E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks and related equipment in Ocala, FL, and is part of Terex Corporation. We are seeking a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team, performing advanced welding tasks and reading technical drawings to determine weld sequences.

The role requires certification readiness (2G/3G/6G) and ability to work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, with strict adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to pass 2G/3G/6G welding certification.

Responsibilities

• Certified to weld in all positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead, 45-degree).
• Reads blueprints and specs to determine welding processes.
• Prepares materials and setups; ensures welds meet standards.
• Inspects welds for defects and adheres to codes and safety standards.
• Operates and maintains welding equipment; may work with carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Maintains safety procedures in hazardous environments and may train other welders.
• May require 0–1 year of certified welding experience or proven qualifications.
