Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC seeks a Certified Surgical Services / Operating Room Tech (CST/OR Tech) for a full-time position. The Specialist assists the OR team, manages instruments and supplies, and maintains a sterile field throughout procedures.

The role includes first and second scrub responsibilities, with focus on patient care across age groups and collaboration with surgeons and staff in a fast-paced surgical suite.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year OR tech experience, endovascular in vascular hybrid room.
• Lead in Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Burn and Vascular Surgery.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA or TS-C from NCCT required on hire.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist OR team in patient care, equipment, and supplies.
• Care for adolescents (12-17), adults (18-64), and geriatrics (65+).
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
• Understand procedures and anticipate surgeon needs; maintain sterile field.
• In first scrub: manage instruments; in second scrub: assist surgeon (sponging, suctioning, cutting sutures, retractors, endoscopic camera).
