Job summary

WALGREENS Careers in Minnesota seeks a Pharmacy Technician to work under the pharmacist’s supervision, handling prescription processing and customer service. You will enter patient data, assist with medication distribution, and support inventory and claims processing.

Qualified candidates will have a PTCB or ExCPT certification, at least 1 year of retail/hospital experience, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends. Strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required (except PR).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience in retail or hospital settings.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where not restricted).

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in pharmacy practice per policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems; fill prescriptions.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow, and inventory management in the Pharmacy Department.
• Process third-party claims; support clerical duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager.
• Provide customer service, locate products, and handle cash register duties as needed.
