Job Responsibilities/Tasks

1. Customer Experience
   • Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
   • Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
   • Develops strong relationships with most valuable customers.
2. Operations
   • Assist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision, in accordance with regulations and company policies. Review and comply with the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
   • Perform duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow.
   • Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to policies regarding pharmacy errors and quality improvement.
   • Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party claims efficiently.
   • Support inventory management activities and maintain knowledge of asset protection techniques.
   • Assist in administering clinical services and coordinate with healthcare providers.
   • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy environment.
   • Follow all company policies and complete assigned tasks.
3. Training & Personal Development
   • Maintain PTCB certification and complete required training and continuing education.
   • Possess at least one year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital settings.
   • Be fluent in English and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
   • Prefer prior Walgreens experience, good math skills, basic PC skills, and knowledge of inventory control.
