Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking an energetic and visionary Centrifuge Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead an engineering team at the Technology and Manufacturing Center in Oak Ridge, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience in complex environments.
• Experience in serial production environments.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with quality systems: NQA-1, ISO-TS, AS9001.
• Experience with AIAG Core Tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Centrifuge Manufacturing Engineering Department by setting strategic goals, maintaining critical documentation, and driving operational excellence.
• Staff and develop a high-performing engineering organization, mentor engineers in serial production best practices, and foster knowledge transfer across Manufacturing and Engineering.
• Supervise day‑to‑day departmental activities, guide cross‑functional teams in designing and improving manufacturing processes, and ensure production plans are executed effectively.
• Champion continuous improvement, oversee production launches, and maintain key manufacturing performance targets (Availability, Performance, Quality).
• Identify risks, manage work to meet budget and schedule commitments, and uphold safety and security standards.
