Job summary

Oak Ridge National Laboratory seeks a Division Director for the Centrifuge Enrichment Technology Division in Oak Ridge. Lead a ~200-person team, directing science, engineering, prototype manufacturing, testing, and deployment-readiness efforts aligned with national enrichment missions.

Qualifications

• MS degree with 15+ years in R&D/engineering environment.
• PhD preferred for advanced roles.
• Proven leadership in line management and budget oversight.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead division of ~200 staff, including supervision of section heads and budget management.
• Set strategic vision for centrifuge enrichment technology and deployment-readiness goals.
• Develop practical division work scopes, schedules, milestones, and performance expectations.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance across research, design, and manufacturing activities.
• Foster external partnerships with government, industry, and sponsors.
