Qualifications

• Three months of experience in providing direct services in human services, education, or community settings to the aging population or diverse groups, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Ability to meet PA residency requirements and perform essential job functions.
• Experience advertising or coordinating programs with basic Microsoft Office skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meal oversight including portion control and food handling requirements.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers and direct their activities.
• Coordinate daily educational and recreational programs for center participants.
• Collect participation statistics and track daily income for center operations.
• Ensure sanitation, health, and safety guidelines are followed.
• Advertise programs and recruit new participants using Microsoft Office to create flyers, calendars, and spreadsheets.
