Job summary

NexTier is seeking a Sr. Cement Engineer in Midland, TX to support operations, engineering and customer projects. You will mentor junior personnel through pre-job planning, cementing execution, post-job evaluation and contingency planning, ensuring adherence to NexTier standards.

You will review cementing designs, interpret data, lead safety and process audits, collaborate with customers and sales to resolve technical challenges and improve service quality across district.

Qualifications

• Understanding hydraulics, mechanics, and chemistry.
• 4+ years of engineering experience.
• Advanced cementing principles knowledge.
• Experience using Cempro+ and CentraDesign.
• Proficient MS Office usage and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide cementing designs and proposals for customers.
• Mentor junior engineering and operations staff.
• Lead projects to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Audit wellsite procedures for NexTier standards.
• Review Cement Bond Logs and other data for optimization.
• Develop KPI reviews with customers.
