Job summary

Nexus Talent Solutions Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to provide technical and engineering support for cementing operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality results at the wellsite.

You will collaborate with internal teams and customers, perform field inspections, analyze job requirements, and deliver practical solutions to meet operational needs while upholding safety standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Engineering in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Petroleum preferred.
• 4+ years in oilfield services or energy industry (cementing preferred).
• Field cementing experience including design and execution.
• Laboratory or sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer needs, engineering activities, and quality control processes.
• Prepare written job recommendations and computer models to support field operations.
• Work with customer engineering teams to analyze well conditions and job specifications.
• Coordinate with lab technicians, logistics, and operations to prepare for jobs.
• Develop and evaluate lab tests to confirm appropriate products and systems.
• Conduct on-site quality and safety inspections during job execution.
• Deliver technical training to district equipment operators and service supervisors.
• Support onboarding and development of new Field Engineers.
• Perform other duties to support goals.
