Cemex US is a leader in the building materials industry, offering competitive benefits and a dynamic team. The Cement Sales Manager will interface with customers and potential customers while handling issues related to the sales and potential sales of Cemex products, under senior leadership.

The role emphasizes establishing solid customer relationships, understanding market dynamics, and coordinating with accounting and logistics to resolve issues and drive growth across cement sales.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in building materials industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Ability to learn the various customer segments as well as a detailed understanding of the overall construction sector as it relates to various economic metrics.
• Ability to grow the existing customer base and develop opportunities with current accounts as a mean for capturing new business.
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of customer organizations and management.
• Provide technical support to customers with inquiries regarding their purchases.
• Communicate price information to customers and develop overall market price strategy in collaboration with Vice President of Cement Sales.
• Work with accounting & logistics as needed to solve customers’ issues.Perform all other necessary duties as assigned.
