Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Inspector V to serve as the key CEI project contact and main field inspection lead in Texas. You will conduct daily inspections, review audit results, and coordinate with senior leadership to steer quality and safety standards on complex infrastructure projects.

Based in San Antonio, Fort Worth, or Austin, you will train junior inspectors, set inspection direction, and represent the company externally on technical issues, ensuring compliance with TxDOT and industry

Qualifications

• HS with 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass an MVR check.
• U.S. citizenship is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Serves as technical expert in field inspections and audits.
• Acts as the go-to expert internally and externally.
• Provides guidance for inspections on CEI projects.
• Sets direction and goals for inspection.
• Acts as external spokesperson on technical project issues.
• Performs daily field inspections and maintains records.
• Trains other inspectors.
