Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Chattanooga is seeking a Senior Level CEI Inspector to join their team. The role involves overseeing construction inspections and may include acting as an Assistant Project Manager. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in construction engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Qualifications
Five-plus years of experience in construction engineering and inspection on road and/or bridge transportation construction projects.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Travel may be required.
Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
Act as the Assistant Project Manager under the supervision of the Project Engineer.
Perform inspections of individual construction phases.
Represent the CEI presence on projects as the owner’s representative.
Oversee the inspection duties of all project inspectors.
Perform basic surveying tasks, maintain detailed records, and manage inspection and documentation of construction projects.
