Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Construction Manager to join our CEI team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will manage construction projects and mentor inspection teams while ensuring contract compliance and quality deliverables.

The role emphasizes constructability reviews, staffing management, and coordination with federal/state agencies, contractors, and design teams. A background in heavy civil infrastructure is required, with DOT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Eight years of heavy civil infrastructure construction or inspection experience.
• Ability to read roadway plans and specifications.
• Experience managing inspection teams and project staffing.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction inspection teams and act as owner’s rep for contract compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to client and ensure quality of work.
• Lead constructability reviews at 30%, 60%, and 90% designs.
• Track budgets, payments, and change orders; manage project communications.
• Oversee project meetings, close-out, and safety/environmental focus.
