Job summary

RK&K is seeking Senior Roadway and Bridge Inspectors to support the Knoxville/Tri-Cities area. You will lead CEI efforts on transportation projects, supervise Inspectors, and coordinate with clients and contractors.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of CEI experience on DOT programs, strong math skills, and the ability to manage field operations and reporting. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and growth in a national engineering firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction engineering inspection on DOT or local agency projects.
• Experience supervising teams of inspectors.
• Ability to work independently with multiple clients.
• Strong math background and ability to read test specs.
• Valid driving record and clean license.

Responsibilities

• Work on roadway and bridge projects in the region.
• Oversee contractor quality control operations.
• Perform QA sampling and testing.
• Complete daily sampling/testing reports.
• Input data in SiteManager/LIMS.
• Maintain daily communication with clients and field staff.
