Battelle is seeking a Facility Project Manager II in Washington, DC, to support a government contract in biolab operations. This full-time role involves managing facility projects, coordinating engineering efforts, and ensuring the lab operates safely. As a Facility Project Manager II, you will be joining a dynamic team providing invaluable support to a large government contract performing applied laboratory research across a diverse range of biological and chemical disciplines. Operating in a collaborative environment, this position is responsible for safe and effective operation of a CBRNE laboratory facility through engineering coordination, systems oversight, and infrastructure performance monitoring. This role helps manage facility projects, supports equipment integration planning, reviews filtration and surveillance documentation, and coordinates maintenance activities for critical containment and airflow systems. The position also evaluates pressure control and other engineering controls essential to laboratory operations. This full‑time position is contingent upon contract award and will be in Washington DC.
Battelle is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $98,000 - $139,000 per year, in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. Salary is determined by various factors including education, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and market conditions.
