Job summary

You will direct design, testing, and optimization of catheter systems, drive rapid prototyping, and partner with manufacturing to enable transfer-to-manufacturing and successful launches.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in catheter engineering within medical devices, with strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, biomedical or materials engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of catheter engineering experience within medical devices.
• Experience as a technical lead on catheter development projects.
• Hands-on catheter manufacturing process experience.
• Rapid prototyping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead on catheter development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Lead design, development, testing, and optimization of catheter systems and components.
• Drive rapid prototyping to evaluate concepts and accelerate development.
• Develop and execute engineering and verification plans and test strategies.
• Partner with manufacturing to support transfer-to-manufacturing and launches.
• Lead process development including assembly, optimization, troubleshooting and scale-up.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing & Operations for project success.
• Identify and resolve catheter design, manufacturability, performance and reliability challenges.
• Support process validation, design transfer and production readiness.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership across teams.
