Job summary

Medical Murray in Lake Zurich, IL, seeks a Senior Assembler to join our precision manufacturing team that builds catheter-based devices. You will perform advanced, highly detailed assembly operations on catheter products and subassemblies, collaborating with engineering and quality to meet stringent specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of catheter assembly or regulated medical device experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment while

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of catheter assembly or precision medical device manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with bonding, braiding, or over-molding processes preferred.
• Experience in ISO 13485 and FDA QSR regulated environments.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and tolerances; ERP/MES familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex catheter assemblies using precision hand tools, microscopes, and specialized equipment.
• Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and manufacturing procedures to ensure accurate builds.
• Operate and maintain production equipment (braiders, reflow ovens, tipping machines, bonding and molding stations).
• Measure, test, and inspect assemblies using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
• Document work in device history records (DHRs) and verify line clearance per procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve processes.
• Support process development and validation activities for new catheter builds.
• Train and mentor junior assemblers in advanced techniques and best practices.
• Maintain GMP, ISO 13485, and safety compliance in a cleanroom.
