Medical Murray in Lake Zurich, IL is seeking a Senior Assembler to join our manufacturing team and contribute to the precise assembly of catheter systems in a cleanroom environment.

You will perform complex builds, follow detailed procedures, document work in DHRs, and collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure GMP/ISO 13485 compliance and continuous improvement. This role also offers hands-on training, opportunities to mentor junior staff, and a pathway to advanced manufacturing roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education not required; strong hands-on experience in catheter assembly is essential.
• Experience in a regulated medical device environment (ISO 13485, FDA QSR) preferred.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex catheter assemblies using precision tools and equipment.
• Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and procedures to ensure accurate builds.
• Operate and maintain production equipment (braiders, bonding stations, heat shrinkers, etc.).
• Measure and inspect assemblies with calipers and micrometers to verify specs.
• Document work in device history records (DHRs) and ensure line clearance per procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements.
• Support process development and validation activities for new catheter builds.
• Train and mentor junior assemblers in advanced techniques and best practices.
