Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Texas seeks a Cath Lab Technologist II to perform advanced imaging during complex cardiac procedures. You will operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, perform fluoro imaging, and ensure accurate image capture while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

The role also involves serving as a Radiation Safety representative and preceptor for junior staff, supporting procedural teams and driving department efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an equivalent credential.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies and leads self/others/leaders as applicable.
• Ensures major equipment is operational and documents quality control checks.
• Performs daily room checks and stocks supplies.
• Accesses daily patient schedule and retrieves appropriate patient information.
• Operates imaging equipment (X-Ray, IVUS, ICE) and ensures accurate image acquisition.
• Trains and completes competencies to operate cath lab equipment and supports procedures.
• Acts as radiation safety representative for patients and team during X‑ray use.

Radiology Technology graduate

Associate degree in healthcare
