Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate's degree in a healthcare-related field, or an acceptable equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the cath lab and ensures major equipment is operational; documents quality control data.
• Participates in daily room checks and stocking of supplies.
• Accesses patient schedule and relevant information for procedures.
• Verifies proper patient information is entered into imaging systems.
• Operates imaging equipment (fluoro, IVUS, ICE) and handles contrast injection as directed.
• Ensures aseptic technique and patient safety during procedures; observes sterile field.
• Collaborates with Cath Lab Lead/Coordinator to optimize patient care and efficiency.
• Provides support in patient transport and position setup as needed.
• Maintains documentation of hemodynamic measurements and procedure events.
• Adheres to CHRISTUS mission, policies, and magnet-status initiatives.

Education

Associate degree in Radiology Technology or healthcare-related field

Bachelor's degree preferred
