SJS HSHS St. John's Hospital seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist III to cover on-call procedures in the Cath Lab imaging department.

The role involves assisting physicians during invasive and diagnostic/interventional procedures, monitoring patient response, and maintaining sterile technique in a high-demand environment. Qualified candidates will have an associates degree in radiologic technology, 4 years cath lab experience, state licensure as a Radiographer, ARRT RT(R) certification,

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic technology or equivalent.
• 4 years of cath lab radiologic technologist experience.
• Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice with ARRT RT(R) certification.
• Advanced CI or RCIS certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required (or obtained within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient status, pass instruments and catheters, and maintain a sterile field.
• Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data to support physician decisions.
• Operate radiology equipment while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
