Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist III–Dedicated Call to support the Cath Lab at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

This on-site role covers on-call procedures, weekdays and weekends, with day shifts and a compensation range aligned to experience. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in radiologic technology, has 4 years cath lab radiologic experience, and is licensed as a Radiographer with ARRT RT(R).

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program.
• 4 years of experience in a cath lab radiologic technologist role.
• Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required; ARRT RT(R) certification required.
• Advanced certification preferred: CI or RCIS; BLS/ACLS required or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro and electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor, pass instruments and catheters, observe patient response, maintain sterile field.
• Operate equipment that produces ionizing radiation; ensure safety and radiation protection.
• Provide on-call coverage during weekday/weekend hours and holidays as assigned.
