Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Catering Operations Manager to orchestrate the on-site delivery of food and beverage services for Etihad Park in Queens, NY. You will serve as the main point of contact for the client during events and lead catering staff before, during, and after each occasion.

The role requires strong financial planning, menu coordination with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership, and a commitment to safe alcohol service.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and marketing.
• Knowledge of venues, events industries, and markets.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Experience evaluating risks and liabilities of events.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and revise BEOs with leadership prior to each event.
• Conduct pre-event inspections of function space for setup and ambiance.
• Collaborate with client to confirm itinerary and last-minute changes.
• Lead pre-shift lineup, assign tasks, and communicate service expectations.
• Supervise catering servers and ensure high-quality service.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests during events.
• Monitor food presentation and adherence to event specs.
• Enforce responsible alcohol service per policies.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Complete event closing duties and collect client feedback.
• Ensure staff complete side-work and close-out properly.
• Provide feedback on staff performance to leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness in front- and back-of-house areas.
• Foster a positive environment that supports teamwork and service.
• Notify management when supplies run low and assist with restocking.
