Compass Group USA is seeking a Senior Catering Manager for on-site operations at Texas Women’s University in Denton. Responsible for delivering catering solutions, menu development, and coordinating events with the Catering Chef. Evenings, weekends, and some holidays required.

You will hire and train staff, manage labor and food costs, and build strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and retention. This role supervises hourly personnel and delivery staff on site.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required in hospitality or related field.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and guest service.
• Experience handling high-volume events and diverse client needs.
• Ability to recruit, train, and supervise catering staff.
• Proficiency with standard office software and menu planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external catering events to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop and maintain catering marketing plans and detailed menus.
• Lead hiring, training, and scheduling of catering staff.
• Control labor and food costs; manage event setup, operation, and cleanup.
• Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Perform additional duties to support dining service operations.
