Job summary

Bars & Recreation in Milwaukee seeks a Senior Catering & Event Captain to lead banquet operations for onsite and offsite events. You will supervise staff, coordinate with culinary and sales teams, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

This role also involves transporting equipment and supporting setup, service, and teardown across facilities. Requirements include 3+ years in hospitality/catering and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of hospitality, banquet, catering, or event operations experience.
• Experience leading event teams and coordinating with multiple departments.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite and offsite catered events as Banquet Captain.
• Coordinate event timelines with Sales, Culinary, Operations, and other teams.
• Transport food, beverages, equipment between Bars & Recreation locations.
• Supervise crew and ensure guest satisfaction throughout events.
• Assist with setup, service, breakdown, and inventory movement.
