Job summary

Eurest is hiring a Senior Catering Captain for a full-time, on-site role at Takeda Pharmaceutical in Cambridge, MA. The position entails supervising the catering team, overseeing setup and service at events, and ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation.

The role requires catering event experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a valid driver’s license may be required. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm with occasional overtime including nights and rare

Qualifications

• Catering event experience; set up, work events, clean up.
• Microsoft Office familiarity for planning and reporting.
• A valid driver’s license may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Catering Department employees and assists in performance appraisals.
• Determines workload from catering orders and coordinates setup.
• Meets with function group leaders to discuss setup and last-minute changes.
• Assembles and delivers food and supplies to scheduled functions.
• Returns food, beverages, equipment and utensils to the facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards at events.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work areas.
• Interacts with customers and resolves concerns in a service-oriented manner.
